Sunday Outing – February 8, 2009

I was solo this outings so I ended up going to three different parks. At the first two parks the trails were really, really icy but I got a great shot of an icy waterfall out of the deal. It was warmer (44 degrees) muddy and icy in areas without direct sun. I actually ran into a couple of other birders while out this time.

What I saw:
Tufted Titmouse
Carolina Chickadees
Northern Cardinals
American Robins
Downey Woodpecker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Blue Jay
Brown Creeper
American Crows
Carolina Wren
Dark-eyed Juncos
Northern Flicker
Yellow-rumped Warbler
American Tree Sparrows
Northern Harrier
Red-tailed Hawk
Eastern Towhee
White-throated Sparrow
White-breasted Nuthatch
Canada Geese
