Sunday Outing – February 22, 2009

Cold, windy, cloudy and about 22-26 degrees. We went to a new spot and it turned out to be a nice area where we saw a couple new birds we haven’t seen yet this winter.

What we saw:
Mourning Dove
White-breasted Nuthatch
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
American Robin
Northern Cardinal
Blue Jay
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Purple Finch
Downey Woodpecker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Red-shouldered Hawk
Red-tailed Hawk
American Crow
American Tree Sparrow
Canada Goose
Dark-eyed Junco
European Starling
