Chipping Sparrow – first migrant to my home & more

Saw this little guy at the feeders this morning! Chipping Sparrows tend to only be in my area during the summer so I am excited to see him and know his migrating friends will soon be joining.

A Dark-eyed Junco is still out there this morning also. They normally leave for the summer.

Robins all around and actively setting up their territories. Have seen some good air and ground combat maneuvers in the last week.Mr. American Robin

Mrs. American Robin – hope to see some handsome offspring from this pair.

4 Northern Cardinals fighting over my yard this morning also. 2 males, 2 females. Can’t they all just get along? Hehehe. The more cardinals the better in my book. But I understand their need for territories with the breeding season about to begin.
